Regular Services

At All Saints we worship God in a traditional but relaxed style, reflecting the ‘family’ feel of our church. Newcomers can be assured of a warm welcome and a still, sacred atmosphere in which to pray.

Monday - Thursday 8.00am - Morning Prayer

A short, simple service of prayers and readings which lasts about 20 minutes. Usually it is the clergy alone at this service, but others are very welcome to join (you may wish to let us know in advance that you are coming!).

Sunday (1st Sunday of the month) 8.00am – Holy Communion

A simple service of Holy Communion. This is a said service (without hymns) and uses the same modern language as the 10.00am service. It lasts about 40 minutes and is particularly suited to those seeking a quieter opportunity to worship and pray on a Sunday morning.

Unfortunately the 8.00am service is currently suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Sunday 9.30am – Parish Communion

The main service of the week, lasting just over an hour. This is a sung service including hymns – both traditional and modern – and using modern language. Readings and prayers are offered by members of the congregation. Children of all ages are welcome here; there is space set aside in the worship area with mats and a toy box for infants, along with themed colouring/reading activities for older children. The service is followed by tea, coffee and refreshments in the Hall.

Wednesday 9.45am – Mid-week Holy Communion

A simple service of Holy Communion using modern language. A small but regular community joins this service each week and meets for refreshments in the Hall afterwards.

We welcome visitors and newcomers to all of our services.
Coffee and fellowship follow the Parish Communion and mid-week Holy Communion and are a good chance to get to know us.
