Our Schools

At All Saints we have a number of schools within our parish, with whom we seek to maintain close links – for instance by taking assemblies, contributing to R.E. lessons and welcoming school groups to church.

Barton Clough Primary School

Barton Clough is an integrated 4-11years one-form entry Primary School; in addition to classes from Reception to Year 6, there are two small specialist classes (SSC’s) catering for children with complex learning needs. The school is single-storey, and adjacent to the main school is a second building housing the Nursery Class and also a separate Pre-school unit.

Moss Park Infant and Junior Schools

Moss Park is two-form entry and consists of linked; Infant (Early Years + Key Stage 1) and Junior (Key Stage 2) sections operate as separate units under separate Head Teachers, although accommodated in adjoining halves of one building.

Lostock High School

Lostock High School comprises School Years 7-11. It offers a broad spectrum of courses and qualifications, including GCSE and Vocational Qualifications. It specialises in the performing arts and has state-of-the-art theatre and dance studio facilities. The adjacent Lostock Library fulfils a dual function as both school and local-community library.

Since February 2012, Lostock has been affiliated to the Church of England in the Diocese of Manchester. As the local parish church, All Saints works closely with the school and endeavours to provide a regular, visible Christian presence for students and staff. Our Rector serves on the Governing Body and is well-known in the school community.
